Art and music are of special importance in the evolving process of human beings. The special music of Ashura in Islamic societies is in praise of the third Imam of the Shiites and the event of Karbala. In this type of music, a sad effect is made on the audience, which in this research will be addressed from the aspects of anthropology and sociology. Therefore, considering the high value of this art among the people and society and the validity of the name of Ashura, a descriptive, analytical and comparative study is carried out in the two regions of Minab and Muscat. In order to raise the issue of highlighting the fact that Ashura music is also a concern of many artists. The present study entitled "Sociology of Ashura music in Minab and Muscat with emphasis on religious types", with a descriptive, analytical and comparative method, in addition to studying the sociology of Ashura music in Iran and Oman, the differences and similarities of meanings And the concepts in its implementation will also pay attention.
