Abstract
The last utopian objective, according to Farabi, is to gain rational beatitude. Since the public, because of their nature and customs, fail to understand rational truths so as to achieve rational beatitude, the way to arriving at rational happiness should be depicted to the public through their imagination. Doing this job, the artist of Farabi’s utopia conjures up images of rational beatitude in people’s imagination. Ibn Tufail’s novel, Hayy Ibn Yaqzan, is in accord with Farabi’s utopoian art.
