Kant has also devoted some parts of his book "Critique of Pure Reason" to studying the aesthetic experience of the sublime in an attempt to discover the fundamental foundations of experiencing pleasure and pain. Among contemporary philosophers, “Lyotard”, a French scholar and a prominent figure in postmodern philosophy, took Kant’s doctrine on sublimity and presented a new interpretation of it. He brought/introduced sublimity into the realm of cultural transformations and used it to describe postmodern society and the aesthetic experience of art. According to Lyotard, sublimity as an event can challenge the established linguistic games and break down the common rules and grand narratives of modernity.The present article intends to examine Lyotard’s point of view on sublimity with regard to his interpretation of the artworks of the famous artist Barnett Newman, to reveal the aesthetic aspect of sublime experience in his thoughts. It will also become apparent along the way why Lyotard has been called the sublime philosopher of postmodernity.}, keywords = {Lyotard,postmodern,Sublime,Event,art,Barnett Newman}, title_fa = {زیباشناسی امر والا ازمنظر لیوتار (مطالعه موردی: آثار بارنت نیومن)}, abstract_fa = {از دیرباز تاکنون، والایی در کنار زیبایی، برای توصیف تجربه هایی مانند نامتناهی، هراس، شکوه، مرگ و ... به کار رفته است. در میان اندیشمندانی که به موضوع والایی پرداخته‌اند، ادموند برک، با تمایز قائل شدن میان امر زیبا و امر والا، سنت اندیشه‌ی غربی را در باب زیبایی و والایی دگرگون کرد. کانت نیز در تلاش برای کشف بنیان‌های پیشین تجربه ی لذت و رنج، بخشی از کتاب نقد سوم خود را به بررسی تجربه‌ی زیباشناختی امر والا اختصاص داد.در میان فیلسوفان معاصر، «لیوتار» اندیشمند فرانسوی و چهره‌ی شاخص فلسفه پست مدرن، آموزه ی کانت درباره‌ی والایی را برگرفت و با ارائه‌ی تفسیری نو از آن، والایی را وارد قلمرو دگرگونی‌های فرهنگی کرد و آن را برای توصیف جامعه پسامدرن و نیز تجربه‌ی زیبا شناختی هنر، به کار گرفت. نزد لیوتار، والایی در مقام یک رخداد، قادر است بازی‌های زبانی مستقر را به چالش گرفته و قواعد رایج و کلان روایت‌های مدرنیته را در هم شکند.مقاله حاضر برآن است که ضمن بررسی آراء لیوتار در باب والایی و با توجه به تفسیر وی از آثار هنرمند نقاش، بارنت نیومن، وجه زیباشناسانه‌ی تجربه والایی را نزد وی، آشکار سازد. از این رهگذر هم‌چنین روشن خواهد شد که چرا لیوتار فیلسوف والای پسامدرن نامیده شده است.}, keywords_fa = {لیوتار,پسامدرن,امر والا,رخداد,هنر,بارنت نیومن}, url = {https://tsa.itaihe.ac.ir/article_170020.html}, eprint = {https://tsa.itaihe.ac.ir/article_170020_eedcecb1d4e10bade97f59221099657a.pdf} }
